Solar Power for Electricity

OFGEM has introduced a scheme called the "Feed in Tariff". This means that a solar power system that is installed by an MCS accredited company you will get paid for all the electricity that you generate; you get paid for the electricity that you use and you get paid for the electricity that you export to the national electricity grid!

You will be paid a fixed rate of 21p for every unit of electricity that you generate - Guaranteed for 25 years!

How much do I need to spend on a system?

It's up to you how much you spend... how much you spend should depend how much electricity you use and how much money you want to make.

How much will I save and how much will I make?

Our Sharp 4kw system means per year you will save approximately £173 on you electricity bills, and receive from the Feed in Tariff approximately £721, plus receive £69 per year for the electricity that you export back to the grid - guaranteed for 25 years!

This means that your total gain will be over £963 per year and a net profit of £36,015 over 25 years...and that's just with a 4kw system.

Heres a quick sum...

£721 + £173 + £69 = £963 x 25 years...less the initial cost of your system = £36,015 net profit.
